Under a Blood-Red SkyBy Raeden M. Drear
Under a blood-red sky,
Crowds gathered to see their Emperor die.
They cursed their Lord to the Dark Abyss.
Famine and pain,
Death and darkness, plots a-brewing!
This was of the Emperor's doing!
Taking arms, they seized the Capital,
And burned it to the ground.
They cut the Emperor in two,
Burned him to ash and buried him in an unmarked grave, never to be found.
Now the sky is black and the stars are out,
Witness to the death cries, they tell,
Of thirty-thousand disloyal beasts,
As they burned at the fiery Gates of Deadcat Knell.
