Creatures of this EarthBy Teresa A. Doxtrod-Lancaster
Falling, tumbling, playing around,
The otter is a creature that's fun to be around.
Quietly working, not having a care,
The mouse is a creature that works to be fair.
Silently moving, swift as a jay,
The fish is a creature who's life must pay.
Eyes darting quickly, talons of gold,
The eagle is a creature who never grows old.
Clever and cunning, she waits for the night,
The vixen is a creature who is no stranger to plight.
Family with otters, but no kin to them,
The ferret is a creature who must bite and rend.
Silently watching, as days do go by,
Time is a creature who often flies.
